You may have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet here at Wildflower Four.
It’s not because I’m out of ideas to write about. I have many, many ideas bouncing around in my head!
It’s because I’ve been busy working on another project…nurturing the little life growing inside of me!
Yes, I’m pregnant!
And I’m 43 years old! My heart is thrilled to bring another child into our family, but my old body? Not so thrilled.
With all of my other pregnancies, I’ve been tired for the first trimester as you would expect. This time around, I’ve had extreme fatigue…in bed from 8pm to 6am and at least one nap during the day. Most of the time I barely have enough energy to make sandwiches for lunch. Walking up stairs takes a lot longer than it used to and I need to rest when I get to the top. I can’t wait for my energy to return!
I also had extreme nausea for about a month, but I determine that it was the prenatal vitamins that were making me sick. Once I switched brands most of the nausea went away.
I’m lucky that my family has been understanding during the last few months.
Thank you for your patience and for sticking around Wildflower Four! I look forward to sharing this next chapter with all of you!by
